КВТ Dual wall heat shrink tubes TCT - one of the time-proved, traditional and yet highly popular developments of “KBT” factory. TCT tubes have a shrink ratio 3:1 and designed to repair damaged insulation of power cables, termination and joint heat-shrinkable kits, for the voltage up to 10 kV.

As the basis of the composite material in the manufacture of heat-shrinkable tubing TCT used polyethylene 153-10K, which is widely used in the domestic cable industry as insulation, membranes and protective covers on the wires and power cables. Composition of TST tubes offers outstanding resistance to aggressive influence of cable oils and has been used successfully not only for cables with plastic but with paper oil impregnated insulation as well.

Due to the increased shrink ratio of tubes TCT – it can cover several sizes of cables (e.g., 25-35-50mm2 or 150-185-240 mm2) and can be used for assembly of multi dimensional heat shrinkable cable kits.

In addition to the excellent dielectric properties of the material, the thickness of heat-shrink tubes TCT, more than 2.5 times thicker than similar tube ТУТ нг. With such high rate, TCT tubes have high strength and resistance to mechanical stress.

КВТ Dual wall heat shrink tubes TCT are designed for repairing and restoring the damaged insulation and sheath of power cables and also for insulation of connections of the cable cores. The material of the tubes is resistant to UV rays and weather conditions.

TCT tubes (KBT) have a round shape- 1 m. cutting by 10 pieces in pack. The range of represented sizes is most optimal size range - from 24/8 to 55/18mm.

TCT tubes (KBT) are widely used not only in Russia, but also in the countries of the Customs Union, for assembling heat shrinkable cable kits.
