Self sintered insulation tape
type : СИЛ-20
- Designed to restore and repair the damage of insulation self-supporting wires, as well as cable sheath for voltage up to 1 kV
- While removing the piercing clamps from the self-supporting wires line, in the place of piercing, wire insulation has to be repaired with tape СИЛ
- The tape is manufactured based on ethylene-propylene rubber, self-vulcanized while winding and forming a single monolithic structure
- Has high electric strength
- Resistant to UV rays and weather conditions
- During repair work, separation liner has to be removed and winding of the tape has to be made in preload, with triple pulling
- The part of insulation, restored by self sintered insulation tape СИЛ, does not require mechanical or temperature effects after winding
- Allows sealing complex shapes parts
